Mission of the Lynn Police Department
1. To provide the citizens of Lynn and its surrounding neighbors with the protection and service they deserve.
2. To solve crimes by using all available resources.
3. To be helpful, courteous, and compassionate to those who make mistakes.
Reminder- When a Lynn officer is not on duty the Sheriffs dept. will respond to those who need a law enforcement response.

Helpful hints to protect your property
1. Properly mark your residence with legible numbers to ensure a quick response from Police, Fire & Ambulance services.
2. Make a list of your valuable property, log all serial numbers and identifying marks. (Pictures would be very helpful)
3. Be a good neighbor and help each other watch for those people who steal and damage property.
4. Report all suspicious activity. ( A log will be kept of reported suspicious criminal activity. These areas will be watched and if criminal activity is present the proper steps will be taken to restore safety and peace to the area).
